Welcome to our school - full of happy, hard-working children and teachers. We want every child to participate fully, respect other people, be independent and determined in achieving excellence.
Only for those directly invited via text.
Dear Parent/Carer,
A super opportunity has just arisen for the school. Helping Hooves in Coxbench have offered us the use of their facilities and ten Year Three children have been selected to take part in four sessions.
Whilst there your child will get an opportunity to feed, groom and walk the horses around the paddock, feed the sheep and rabbits, tend to the vegetable patch, as well as many other activities.
We have booked four-afternoon sessions for this group of ten Year 3 children:
Thursday 16th June
Thursday 30th June
Thursday 7th July
Thursday 14th July
Helping Hooves is within walking distance of the school and the visits will take place during normal school hours. Please collect your child as usual at the end of the school day.
More details about the charity can be found at: https://www.helpinghooves.co.uk/
Your child will need to bring a bag with the following clothes to change into (weather dependent);
Old clothes
Wet weather waterproof coat
Wellingtons or appropriate woodland walking shoes/old trainers
Sun hat/cream
Drink
We are hoping that you will give permission for your child to attend and please return the reply slip immediately. Mrs. Hughes and I, will be on the playground in the morning and at hometime to collect permissions.
Many thanks and apologies for the short notice,
Mrs. Hughes and Mr. Schumann
