Over the next two weeks, children in Sycamore Class will have several lessons about growing up and relationships. These lessons will be taught as a class by Mrs Gardiner using the Twinkl scheme of learning. The lessons will cover the following concepts:

- Emotional changes and mood swings (including how to manage these emotions and where to seek advice and support)
- Getting a crush on someone
- Different types of relationships – family, friends, relationships when older.
- Diverse families - The different types of family

Thomas Bates - October 2021
Within our topic work on Little Eaton this half term, we have been studying the life and legacy of Thomas Bates. We enjoyed a fabulous, informative talk from members of the Little Eaton Historical Society before presenting our knowledge in a range of different ways. We are very grateful to Bill and Lynne for giving up their time to help us and providing the prizes. The entries were all amazing and I know they had a difficult decision when choosing the winners of a £10 book token.
