Welcome to Year 5!

Please take a look at the slideshow to see all the brilliant learning that has taken place this year. This term, we are focusing on Ancient Greece and learning all about life during this period of time.

In English, we’ll focus on a non-chronological report about Ancient Greek mythical creatures and write our own adapted version of Pandora's Box.

In Maths, we will consolidate our knowledge of fractions and also cover shape, statistics and negative numbers.

As this is our final term, we also have lots of whole-school events taking place. Please keep an eye on the newsletter in order to keep up with these and any messages involved!

Weekly Routines

Monday – Homework in. Please note if your child needs a little extra support from us in school on the homework.

Thursday – Homework sent home, PE and forest schools.

Friday - spelling checks based on the rules practicing in school. Reading journals checked.
