Welcome to our school - full of happy, hard-working children and teachers. We want every child to participate fully, respect other people, be independent and determined in achieving excellence.
The London Marathon is on the 22nd April.
We are in awe of everyone who participates in this event raising money for a wide range of charities.
We are particularly in awe of Ifeanyi Iokike and Sarah Bayliss who are currently in intensive training for their runs in the event - now they need your support!
Please take time to read their messages to you:
Yes, I am running the Virgin Money London Marathon 2018.
Really? That cannot be right. Even my physiotherapist said the same. "Your body is not built for distance running" he says!
That is exactly why I am doing it, because my body is not built for it.
Who am I running for?
I am running for the Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF)
Why am I doing this?
Simply because I subscribe to their "War against all forms of meningitis and their ambitious aim is to rid the world of meningitis". They also funded my PhD research for which I am very grateful.
How do I support you?

If you wish to donate by standard methods:
I can bring paper forms for you if you prefer - ask in the school office.
Thank you for your support.
Disclaimer: My aim is to complete the course - I am not time-bound apart from the compulsory 8 hours!
I've run for years and it all started when I decided to raise money having being inspired by a little boy who sadly lost his fight with cancer. Since then I've never looked back and have always raised money for Cancer charities.
My little boy is in year 2 at Little Eaton Primary School and since becoming a mum the desire to do this to specifically to help children and their families following a cancer diagnosis is overwhelming.
I'm now 41 and it's been 13 years since my last London Marathon and I can confirm it's not got easier with age,! However, what little I can do to help with what must be an earth shattering time in a families life, I will.
So one way or another in one pieces or many, in 4 hours or the maximum 8 allowed I will complete the 26.2 miles on April 22nd. It is my hope to raise £2000.00 and any donation you feel you could make would be much appreciated. Many thanks for taking the time to read my story.
