Dear Parents/Carers,

I am writing to inform you that we will be covering sex and relationship education over the next couple of weeks.

Due to the recent circumstances, we have amended our usual scheme of work as we will be unable to offer the chance of a parent meeting beforehand, where you would be able to view the channel 4 video resources that we usually use.

Therefore, we will be cutting the video as a resource and will mainly be using BBC and twinkle resources.

The programme of study will be split into three topic areas (body image, changing relationships and reproduction), which will be delivered by Mr. Thomasson and Mrs. Dallison.

For some work, the girls and boys will be split into single-sex groups.

Below is an outline of the programme of study and links to the resources and please feel free to contact Mr. Thomasson or myself with any questions or queries regarding the work.

I require an email giving permission that your child can take part in the lessons, so please email: headteacher@littleeaton.derbyshire.sch.uk

Many thanks for your support with this and for helping get your child back into school this week.  It has been a real pleasure to see them all together again, having fun and sharing their last few weeks of primary school together.

Kind regards,

Paul Schumann
